Location: Wilmington, DE

Position Type: Contract

Start Date / End Date: July 8 - August 8, 2024

Hours per Week: 37.5 hours / week (open to part-time candidates)

Schedule:

  • 7:00 AM - 2:30 PM and 8:20 AM - 4:50 PM (depending on school)
  • of Schools Assigned: Therapists are generally assigned 1-2 schools

Itinerant & Paid Travel: Yes

Caseload/Workload:

  • Caseloads will be traditional
  • One caseload with specialized programs
  • One bined caseload
  • Primary need is for early elementary / preschool
  • Job Details: K-12

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Wilmington, DE. The primary need is for early elementary and preschool settings within a K-12 environment. This is a contract position with petitive pay and guaranteed hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and munication assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct therapy services to students
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • State licensure in Delaware (or ability to obtain)
  • Experience working with early elementary and preschool-aged students preferred
  • Strong munication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a school-based setting
