Occupational Therapist (OT) -Hiring Now Remaining School Year

Overview: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) with prior experience in school settings to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students by providing high-quality occupational therapy services within an educational environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and treatment plans.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' occupational therapy needs and develop appropriate intervention goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support student success and promote skill development.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions and strategies to address sensory, motor, and functional skills.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team meetings, and other collaborative activities as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Prior experience working as an Occupational Therapist in school settings.
  • Knowledge of special education laws and regulations, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills, with the ability to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to providing inclusive and culturally responsive services to students with diverse needs.
