Position Description

A Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of a specific

department, shift, including scheduling of employees to assure production schedules are met. A Supervisor must have a working knowledge of the duties of the Leadman or Leadmen in his department or location. The Supervisor must assist with employee selection, job training and development and must address employee performance, safety and health issues and other issues which may require disciplinary action.

Education, Experience, Required Skills

 High school degree or equivalent

 Minimum 5 years’ experience in the CNC Machining Industry and five (5) years supervisory experience in associated manufacturing.

 Good math and measurement skills

 Independent & self-motivated

 Good problem-solving skills.

 Good communication skills

 Strong supervisory skills, including training, counseling and disciplinary.

 Understanding of company health, safety, and environmental policies

 Extensive knowledge of production processes and equipment in the department or shift under their supervision.
