Hale Makua Health Services is a Maui based non-profit that improves the well-being of those in its care through compassionate personalized health services. We are devoted to helping Maui's Elders live their best lives. Hale Makua's Kahului location is a 254-bed nursing facility.


The Position:

We're looking for a passionate Head Certified Nurse Aide to serve as a role model for Certified Nurse Aides, Nursing Aides and Nursing Unit Helpers.

  • Performs all Certified Nurse Aide duties.
  • Acts as liaison between charge nurse and CNA and NA as directed.
  • Supervises the activities of the CNA's, NA's and NUH's on the unit.
  • Assists with on-the-job training of staff and provides neighborhood orientation for new hires.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. / Minimum age of 18.
  • Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification with the State of Hawaii
  • Minimum of six months experience as a Certified Nurse Aide in long term care.
  • Current and valid 2 Step TB clearance and health review (can be done in-house).
