Store Associate- Camp Creek

We are currently looking for part-time sales associates at our Decatur location. This position is strictly retail sales with no baking or product decoration involved.

Sales associates are responsible for providing exceptional service to all customers and increasing store sales. They achieve success by maintaining a proficient knowledge of all products and retail items, as well as constantly striving for complete customer satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities

• Upholds the foundational behaviors in line with a retail/customer service position
  o Arrives on time and in dress code each day
  o Maintains accurate timekeeping records
  o Completes assigned duties within scheduled shift
  o Clearly communicates scheduling needs to manager
  o Is willing to help outside of regular schedules when possible
  o Treats others with respect
• Maintains Customer Focus
  o Smiles and keeps a positive attitude
  o Greets all customers upon entry to the store
  o Invites customers to join the cake club and clearly explains the benefits
  o Verifies accuracy of all orders before they leave the store
  o Resolves customer issues quickly and delivers a solution to make customers happy
• Focuses on attention to detail
  o Completes assigned opening and closing duties daily
  o Maintains a clean and inviting store environment
  o Accurately completes all required financial management tools including cash logs and deposit
  records
  o Rings and scans all orders with 100% accuracy
• Keeps Fresh Product and Reduces Waste
  o Follows all FIFO guidelines for rotating product, including use of day dots on all products
  o Follows all standards for slicing and presentation
  o Informs all customers of best practices once products leave the store
  o Looks for new opportunities to control unnecessary waste
• Engages in Company Advancement
  o Is knowledgeable about all POC products
  o Asks questions if something is unclear and seeks out opportunities to learn
  o Provides meaningful feedback to manager and suggestions for improvement
  o Assists in training and development of newer staff members
• Increases store revenue
  o Asks questions of customers and suggest additional retail items when appropriate
  o Maintains fully stocked and organized retail area
  o Maintains fresh supply of samples in the store at all times
