PURPOSE:

The Attendant Care (ATC) Monitor plays a key role in ensuring satisfactory ATC service delivery to Arion Care members. The ATC Monitor conducts monitoring throughout Arizona in compliance with all applicable regulations and policies.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education and/or experience in customer service and in the field of developmental disabilities
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Current valid AZ Driver's License
  • Satisfactory background checks
  • Ability to acquire and maintain a DPS fingerprint card
  • *** Reliable transportation is a must ***

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Complete Attendant Care monitoring following the required schedule (5 days of initial service, 30 days, 60 days if needed, 90 days thereafter. Every Direct Support Professional (DSP) providing ATC also will be monitored after 90 days and annually)
  • Demonstrate respect and promote choice.
  • Contact family members/guardians to schedule required visits and to answer questions as needed
  • Notify Area Supervisor and ATC Supervisor regarding communication barriers and/or referrals or resources needed
  • Maintain a flexible, shared ATC visit schedule with provider, family and supervisor
  • Conduct in-home monitoring visits
  • Complete required electronic forms and disseminate to all required personnel in a timely manner
  • Ability to work with multiple database and software applications, including Microsoft Office
  • Effectively communicate member/provider visits and support with relevant team members (Area Manager/Supervisor, ATC Supervisor, et al.)
  • Work as a team member with others to assist with their duties as necessary
  • Paid per visit and may qualify for mileage bonus

  • Follow all company and funding source policies and procedures including, but not limited to:
  • Reporting to work on time as scheduled.
  • Refraining from excessive absenteeism.
  • Obtaining prior approval for desired time off.
  • Maintain company property and equipment.
  • Maintain all records, logs, and other documentation as required by ISP, company and funding source policy and procedure.
  • Ensure that a clean and safe environment free from abuse, intimidation and harassment is maintained.
  • Maintain all licenses, training and certifications as required by funding source and/or Company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain professional demeanor and protect confidentiality of member, staff and agency information.
  • Other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • The ability to lift items up to 50 lbs
  • The ability to walk, kneel, stand, and bend
  • Ability to quickly respond to health, safety, and emergency situations

WORK ENVIROMENT:

  • This job operates as a remote tele-work position, as Arion Care Solutions does not provide a separate workplace at a corporate location.   Working from home requires a high degree of discipline and the ability to have a space dedicated to work in the home and provision for childcare if appropriate. This position requires travel and in-person meetings/trainings.
