Job Description

As a valued contributor to our team, you will consult with management on the development of processes and procedures for designing and implementing components of technological structures. In this role, you will create solutions with a process-driven view, as well as maintain and/or update existing structures.

The Cloud Security - Architecture - Principal role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Determine the needs of diverse and complex customer groups by applying understanding and resolution of complex or unusual business problems.
  • Translate functional requirements into technical solutions, and may lead matrixed teams.
  • Oversee existing structures, as well as the implementation and ongoing monitoring of governance.
  • Perform modeling, analysis, and planning to solve technical business problems and identify opportunities and risks.

Minimum Required Experiences

  • 8 years


Desired Experiences

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • Solving for enterprise-wide problems and being able to effectively communicate recommendations, and make key decisions
  • Subject matter expert within Cloud Technology and Information Security domains (e.g. API Security, Data Security, CI/CD pipeline Security, Monitoring, Logging, and Alerting and Observability, and Application Vulnerability Management) 
  • Partnering with senior leaders and stakeholders and being able to influence, provide effective challenge and and balance risk with business objectives
  • Experience navigating governance processes with thorough oversight and approval requirements 
  • The ability to communicate with the teams, understanding the technical details and raise those details to senior leaders in an effective message that's clear and concise
  • Developing and documenting and security requirements, architectures, and patterns
  • Leading enterprise initiatives such as Data Security and API Security etc.
  • Experience coaching and mentoring 
  • Well versed in the agile principals and practices 
  • Providing guidance and oversight to other Information Security Architects and Enterprise Architects on secure solution design and industry best security practices
  • Partner with Enterprise Architecture and the business to develop security architectures/designs, patterns
  • Assisting with the development of policies, standards, procedures, guidelines, and best practices
  • Performing security assessments and threat models on technologies, assets, and services
  • Developing information security strategies for key cyber domains and initiatives

Tools

Skilled in Amazon Web Services (AWS) offerings, development, and networking platforms 

Experience with security standards such as NIST CSF, SOX, SOC2, FEDRAMP, and CIS Controls 

Experience with control Frameworks such as NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, CSA CCM, SOX, and Privacy regulations 

Experience using Jira
