Maintenance Technician (Day Shift)

Gossner Foods is a growing family business with three locations across the western United States. With a combined 120 years of cheese making experience, state of the art equipment, and a team of dedicated employees; Gossner Foods is a leader in the dairy industry. What began as a strictly Swiss cheese plant, has expanded until now over 30 varieties of cheeses, and also UHT (Ultra High Temperature) shelf stable milk in a variety of flavors.

Primary Responsibilities:

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal functionality of our plant equipment and building facilities. Your key responsibilities include:

• Conducting repairs on all plant equipment and building facilities.
• Swift and effective response to work orders through checklist and report mechanisms.
• Regular visual inspections of facility/plant equipment to identify and communicate potential issues.
• Timely response to all maintenance-related work orders.

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

• Previous mechanical repair experience is preferred.
• Knowledgeable and/or experienced in preventative maintenance and safety procedures/programs.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting, operating, and making repairs on plant equipment.
• Electrical knowledge is essential.
• General plumbing knowledge.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Day Shift Salary Range: $53,000 - $63,000 per year

Day Shift Schedule: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm (Mandatory Rotating weekends)
