Job Profile Summary:

As a Maintenance Technician at Spark Hudson (Limited Service), you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our facilities, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for our guests and staff. You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and general upkeep of the hotel's infrastructure. Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

-              Guest Room Maintenance: Conduct timely repairs and maintenance in guest rooms, ensuring all amenities, fixtures, and appliances are operational. Address guest maintenance requests efficiently.

-              Equipment Management: Assist in the maintenance and repair of hotel equipment, including laundry machines, kitchen appliances, and fitness center machinery, ensuring they operate efficiently.

-              Safety and Compliance: Follow safety protocols and ensure maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and hotel policies. Conduct regular safety inspections and mitigate potential hazards.

- Inventory and Supplies: Oversee the inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment. Coordinate with vendors for essential parts and materials.

-              Documentation and Reporting: Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and generate reports on tasks completed, equipment status, and improvement recommendations.

- Collaboration and Support: Work with various hotel departments to ensure seamless operations and provide technical support and guidance as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements:

-Technical Expertise: Proficient in maintenance and repair tasks, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and equipment maintenance.

- Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills to quickly diagnose and resolve issues.

- Adaptability: Flexible, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and respond to emergency maintenance needs.

- Communication Skills: Effective communication abilities for interacting with guests, staff, and vendors professionally.

-Experience: Prior hotel maintenance experience and knowledge in management of maintenance/engineering tasks are preferred.

- Certifications: Relevant certifications in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or related fields are a plus.

-Physical Requirements: Capable of standing, sitting, walking for extended periods, and lifting/moving up to 25 pounds.
