Shift Available
Mid Shift: 9:00am-5:30pm, Mon-Fri*
Swing Shift: 10:00am-6:30pm Tue-Fri & 7:00am-3:30pm Sat
*Must be available for overtime during week & Saturdays
Pay: $12.00 + Benefits after 90 days
ExpressPoint Technology Services, Inc., a distributor of a broad range of technology products and depot maintenance services, has a full-time opportunity for a Shipping Clerk. This position sends the appropriate products to our customers, shipped via their preferred method (e.g. FedEx, UPS, etc.). The incumbent will prepare shipments (domestic & international), packages/cartons, and load/unloads trucks. This position requires good computer skills. The ideal candidate is comfortable using web-based warehouse management software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Our warehouse his climate controlled!!
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs parcel & LTL shipments
- Completes international paperwork, including COI's
- Packages technology components in preparation for shipment
- Applies documented process to daily activities
- Possesses basic understanding of various shipping systems and computer inventory tracking systems
- Operates conveyors, pallet jacks, carts and/or other equipment
- Communicates with freight providers via phone or fax as required
- Performs general cleanup
- Maintains flexible work schedule
- All other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Experience and Education
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- Minimum 2 years of industry experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to learn ESD handling procedures
- Ability to follow directions and use small hand tools and general office equipment such as, but not limited to, fax machine, phones, copiers and computers
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, team lift for large items
- High School level math, reading and writing skills
- Good communication, interpersonal and customer relations skills
- Must be flexible, adaptable and able to learn new methods and procedures as requested or required to meet company and customer needs
