We are currently seeking an experienced and ARRT certified CT Technologist to join the team. This part-time position offers competitive compensation, and the opportunity to work in multiple clinic locations across Winter Haven, Davenport, and Lake Wales, Florida.
Position Summary:
As a CT Technologist, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care by performing high-quality CT scans. The ideal candidate should be ARRT certified in CT and hold a valid Florida license. You will be responsible for operating CT equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining accurate records of procedures performed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans on patients in accordance with physician orders and department protocols.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the scanning process.
- Verify patient identity and confirm the appropriateness of the requested procedure.
- Prepare and position patients for CT scans, explaining the procedure to them.
- Operate and maintain CT equipment, including performing quality control checks.
- Monitor patients during scans and respond to any adverse reactions or complications.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, examination results, and radiation exposure.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to assess image quality and make necessary adjustments.
- Follow safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients, staff, and self.
- Assist in the maintenance of a clean and organized work environment.
- Keep abreast of advancements in CT technology and best practices in radiologic imaging.
Qualifications:
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT.
- Florida state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Prior experience as a CT Technologist is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to float between clinic locations in Winter Haven, Davenport, and Lake Wales, Florida.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.
