We’re looking for an experienced artificial intelligence engineer to join the revolution, using deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, LLMs, conversational AI, and AI-integrated robotics to help us improve various business outcomes and drive innovation. The engineer will join a multidisciplinary team helping to shape our AI strategy and showcasing the potential for AI through early-stage solutions. Brightline is building spatial computing products and services that leverage novel AI models and employ them for a variety of use cases to include robotics, human and machine training, digital twins, and more. Brightline is combining AI with 3D using OpenUSD, frameworks from NVIDIA, and providing public and private sector customers with immense enterprise-level value in Spatial Computing. This person should have a passion for product development. This role will communicate daily with the CTO and EVP, Product and will work on a team of 6-8 fellow developers. 


Job Objectives

  • Understand company and client challenges and how integrating AI capabilities can help lead to solutions
  • Identify and prioritize key areas where AI solutions can drive significant benefit for our current and new customers and product strategy
  • Analyze and explain AI and machine learning (ML) solutions while setting and maintaining high ethical standards


Core Responsibilities

  • Advise C-suite executives and business leaders on a broad range of technology, strategy, and policy issues associated with AI
  • Work on functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures, in collaboration with a talented developer team and executive leadership.
  •  Serve as liaison between stakeholders and project teams, delivering feedback and enabling team members to make necessary changes in product performance or presentation
  • Articulate and document the solutions architecture and lessons learned for each product integration of AI


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of experience in applying AI to practical and comprehensive technology solutions
  • Experience with ML, deep learning, TensorFlow, Pytorch, Python, natural language processing (NLP)
  • Experience with large language models (LLM)s and conversational AI
  • Experience with ML-based computer vision techniques
  • Experience in program leadership, governance, and change enablement
  • Knowledge of basic algorithms, object-oriented and functional design principles, and best-practice patterns
  • Experience in REST API development, NoSQL database design, and RDBMS design and optimization


Preferred Additional Skills and Qualifications

  • NVIDIA Omniverse 
  • Integration of AI with Universal Scene Description (OpenUSD) 
  • Bachelor’s or master's degree in computer science or related field
  • Experience with innovation accelerators
  • Experience with cloud environments
