Automotive Service Advisor

Job Summary

Ourisman CDJR of Woodbridge is looking for a full-time Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. The Automotive Service Advisor will be directly responsible for ensuring our customers have the best service and experience possible throughout the service experience. We are looking for an outgoing, customer-service oriented individual who is passionate about cars and enjoys working in a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

• Listen to customer's needs and help them determine the service, repair or maintenance that is necessary for their vehicle.

• Accurately estimate the cost of services and the needed time to complete the job.

• Answer customer inquiries and provide written estimates for services and parts costs.

• Handle customer complaints professionally and promptly.

• Explain services to customers and answer their questions in person and by phone.

• Follow-up with customers after services have been performed to ensure satisfaction.

• Follow dealership policies and procedures in all areas: customer service, safety, and cleanliness in the service areas and vehicles.

Requirements

• Prior experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or equivalent position in the Automotive Service Industry. CDJR experience is suggested but not required

• Ability to efficiently manage tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to determine accurate repair and service needs for customers.

• Good understanding of automotive products and services.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Professional appearance and attitude.
