Job Description

Oversee, guide, and create systems and processes to support, improve, and grow the HR function of the organization. The purpose of this role is not only to manage the HR Department, but to lead the strategy and execution in constantly improving this area of the business.

Requirements/Responsibilities

Provide vision and leadership for the HR Department
People Functions
Recruiting - Develop an all-encompassing recruitment plan that ensures number of applicants is at a high level
Attend job fairs and recruitment events
Update and maintain interview guides and position scorecards
Conduct interviews and make hiring decisions
Set up new employees in HR payroll system
Conduct orientation & on-boarding of new employees
Create name badges for all new employees and order new uniforms
Organize 30-day “check-ins”
Manage the Team Member progression and exit processes
Manage the promotion processes
Manage yearly performance reviews
Employer Relations Functions
Update Team Member handbook
Manage disciplinary documentation and processes
Enforce the 5 Non-Negotiables
Communicate new policies, procedures, and updates to employees
Enforce Chick-fil-A operational policies and procedures
HR Compliance Functions
Manage OSHA requirements
Handle all workers comp claims
Manage unemployment tracking
Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations
Stay up-to-date on any new HR policies
Ensure the company is compliant with all applicable rules and regulations, and that proper documentation, recording, and filing is up to date
Administrative Functions
Input time punch adjustments
Process payroll and cuts checks as needed
Assist in the end of month statement
Submit invoices for payment
Point person for organizing and keeping the office clean and clutter free
Track receipts and reconcile monthly
Process “End of Day” in Inform daily
Order change
Manage benefits (401k, Health Insurance, PTO, Meal Benefits, Scholarships)
Manage Priority One Cares comments
Full-Time, 40+ hours per week, open availability
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time
