Position Title:  Admissions & Marketing Coordinator  

Date/Revision: 04/2023 

Position Status:  Full-Time 

FLSA Status: Exempt - Outside Sales

Reports to: Vice President, Enrollment Management 

Supervises:  None 

 

Position Summary 

 

The Admissions & Marketing Coordinator engages in driving key marketing efforts, overseeing Burlington tours and visitor relationships while also building brand awareness and expanding new referral streams.  This role facilitates the admissions cycle by which applicants are screened, selected, and processed across all sites and manages the Mansfield Hall and Virtual Hall social media presence. 

 

Essential Functions: 

  • Admissions Tours: Serve as the primary contact for prospective families, conducting on-site tours to both families and external stakeholders that provide an insightful and comprehensive view of our campus and its offerings. Tailor each tour to highlight aspects most relevant to the attendees' interests and needs. 
  • Inquiry Management: Handle incoming inquiries regarding enrollment, providing timely and informative responses to foster positive relationships with prospective students and their families. 
  • Digital Brand Enhancement: Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns for Mansfield Hall, Virtual Hall, and our Alumni that align with our values and mission, with a focus on increasing brand visibility and engagement across all digital platforms. 
  • Social Media Management: Oversee and curate content for our social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms, ensuring consistent messaging that reflects our brand’s voice and mission. 
  • Content Creation: Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling content that supports our digital campaigns, including blog posts, newsletters, and promotional materials. 
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to ensure a unified approach to digital marketing and admissions, enhancing the overall experience for prospective students and their families. 
  • Alumni Relations: Work closely with the Admissions team to expand, maintain and allow opportunities for our alumni to stay connected and engaged with the Mansfield Hall community. 
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of digital campaigns and social media engagement, using insights to inform future strategies. 
  • Community Engagement: Actively participate in community events, school fairs, and professional gatherings to promote our institution and strengthen our network of referral sources.

Qualifications 

 

  • Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field. 
  • Experience: One to three years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, or a similar role. Experience in admissions or educational settings is a plus. 
  • Skills: Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, proficiency in social media platforms, excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences. 
  • Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using digital marketing tools, social media management software, CRM, and Microsoft. 

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 

 

  • A passion for supporting team goals and success 
  • Principles consistent with Mansfield Hall’s mission, vision, and values 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • Proven skills in organization, prioritization, and supporting multiple worksites. 
  • Ability to relate to diverse internal and external stakeholders including students, parents and families, staff, service providers, community members, and referring professionals 
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Suite 
  • Ability to interact with compassion and respect, and to react with resilience 

 

Working Conditions 

 

Internal- Work is normally performed in a home office environment, where exposure to conditions of extreme heat/cold, poor ventilation, fumes, and gasses is very limited. Noise level is moderate and includes sounds of normal office equipment (people, computers, telephones, HVAC, etc.).  No known environmental hazards are encountered in the normal performance of job duties. We operate in a flex-space work environment that by nature may include distractions and interruptions. 

 

External- Travel may be included, there is the potential for this position to have minimum travel to schools, college fairs, and/or to visit external stakeholders.  Work outside the office normally takes place in similar office environments, although occasionally work may include classroom environments.   

 

Physical Demands 

 

Work involves standing and walking for brief periods of time, but most duties are performed from a seated position.  There is potential for eyestrain from reading detailed materials and computer work.  Deadlines, workloads during peak periods, and changing priorities may cause increased stress levels. Work normally requires finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination to operate computer keyboards at a moderate skill level. Repetitive motion injuries may occur.  The company will provide adaptive devices as needed.
