Probate Attorney - Estate Planning

$50,000 - $60,000 plus bonuses

Responsibilities will include all areas of case management and trial preparation, including but not limited to:

• Client interface and meetings
• Analyze conflicts in legal matters, advise clients on solutions, and negotiate on behalf of clients
• Resolve cases efficiently by communicating effectively with and working alongside senior attorneys and paralegals
• Organize and maintain files to ensure accuracy for other attorneys, paralegals, and staff
• Responsible for the competent provision of legal services, including legal research; drafting motions, pleadings, orders, judgments, and status updates; and overseeing and analyzing discovery
• Managing cases through our case flow procedures
• Management and achievement of case deadlines
• Sound analyst, collaborator, and strategy implementer to accomplish client goals

• Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school
• Effective communication skills and problem-solving skills are necessary to work with all levels of staff and clients
• Must be able to track and meet minimum billable requirements
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook, Dropbox, electronic legal research, and essential case management
• A positive attitude and perspective of seeing challenges as opportunities for growth
