Job Description

The Director of HCM Services is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of human capital management and payroll services provided by HR Butler. This role involves leading a team of professionals, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of payroll and related HCM services, and maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Management:
  • Lead and manage a team of leaders that oversee ongoing service, new client implementation, and tax filing departments.
  • Set clear performance expectations, provide guidance, and foster a positive work environment.
  • Service Delivery:
  • Work with our service teams to ensure accurate and timely servicing of HCM clients.
  • Monitor service quality and address any issues or discrepancies promptly.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:
  • Stay current with labor laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure all payroll and HCM services are in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Technology and Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities to improve service efficiency and accuracy through technology enhancements and process improvements.
  • Oversee the implementation of HCM and payroll technology solutions.
  • Client Onboarding and Training:
  • Collaborate with the sales and implementation teams to ensure a smooth transition for new clients.
  • Provide training and support to clients on using the HCM and payroll systems effectively.
  • Performance Metrics and Reporting:
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Prepare regular reports on service performance and improvement recommendations.
  • Budget Management:
  • Develop and manage the department's budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
  • Extensive experience in HCM and payroll services, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processing, tax compliance, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional client service and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in HCM and payroll software systems, experience with iSolved preferred.
  • Knowledge of relevant labor laws and regulations.

Certifications (Optional):

  • Professional certifications such as CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) or HR-related certifications can be advantageous.
