Title of Position: Hotel General Manager

Job Responsibilities:The Hotel General Manager is responsible for all aspects of operations of the hotel, from day-to-day staff management to guest and client relations. The Hotel General Manager provides leadership and strategic planning to all departments in support of service expectations, maximizing operations, overall guest satisfaction to maximize profitability.The Hotel General Manager must plan, organize, direct, and coordinate the operations of all Rooms Division, Sales, Engineering, Catering and Conference Management, Third Party Vendors and Food and Beverage departments. The Hotel General Manager alsoevaluates changes in guest needs, industry, and competitive trends to recommend appropriate product/service and operational changes to be made to ensure guest and employee satisfaction, in order to maintain market dominance and achieve exceptional financial returns.The Hotel General Manager will report directly to the Vice President of Operations

Qualifications:

The Hotel General Manager should always be able to provide consistent support to the success of the operationin all manners

A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience of a comparable property is necessary for the Hotel General Manager

The Hotel General Manager musthave a proven track record in the hotel industry demonstrating achievement of outstanding profit and guestservice-relatedgoals

A Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management or relevant experience in a related field is preferredfor the Hotel General Manager

The Hotel General Manager must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
