Electrophysiology Technician - Heart Rhythm Center - EP Lab - Full Time - Days - Full-time / Part-time

Position Summary: 

The Radiological Technician / Electrophysiology Technician functions as a support technologist within the Heart Rhythm Center providing direct clinical care to EP patients. They help assist the Cardiologist(s) in performance of EP procedures, sets up and operates specialized equipment, and prepares EP suite for intricate procedures in a sterile environment. Will actively participate in the creation of an environment that fosters patient, family, physician, and employee satisfaction. Will ensure decisions are made are based upon Family Centered Care philosophy. 

• Associates in Health related science
• Completion of an accredited program in cardiac electrophysiology, cardiovascular technology or equivalent education and experience
• Knowledge of hemodynamics and cardiovascular anatomy and physiology
• Must be able to understand directions, communicate and respond to inquiries, utilize effective interpersonal skills
• Must be able to input and retrieve computer information; work with monitors, radiology and other digital equipment
• License: ARRT 
• Certification: RCIS, BLS (Basic Life Support)

 
Preferred Qualifications: 

• Education: Bachelors of Science
• Skills: Experience with Claris recording system; Experience with Abbott/St. Jude Medical, Boston Scientific, and Biosense Webster Mapping and Ablation systems; EMR documentation in EPIC
• Years of Experience: 1-2 
• Certification: RCES, ACLS
