SYSTEMS ANALYST
Role Summary:
The Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting and maintaining a variety of software applications. This includes troubleshooting, analyzing system issues, implementing solutions, and working with both internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth operation and user satisfaction.
Essential Competencies:

o Troubleshoot software, hardware, and network issues.

o Translate technical terms into understandable language for non-technical users.

· Project Delivery
o Assess the feasibility of the proposed project in terms of technical, operational, and financial viability.
o Based on the requirements, design the system architecture, including hardware, software, and network specifications.
o Create models or prototypes to give stakeholders a preview of the system and gather feedback.
o Create detailed system specifications that will guide developers during the coding phase.
o Provide technical guidance to understand the system specifications and requirements.
· Post-Deployment and Support
o Continuously monitoring the system’s performance and gathering feedback from users.
o Ensuring the system remains up-to-date and functional, addressing any post-deployment issues or enhancements.
o Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for the system for future reference and compliance.
Performance Goals:
o Minimize application downtime and improve system efficiency.
o Enhance user satisfaction and align IT systems with business objectives.
§ Successfully manage and complete IT projects on schedule.
Required Qualifications:
· 5+ years of experience as a System Analyst or in a similar role.
· Strong understanding of software applications and IT systems.
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
· General knowledge of ERP systems, with competency in one of the follow core business areas: Operations and MFG, Accounting, Distribution, Planning, Warehouse, Transportation, Orchestrations and EDI.
· Experience in RF Scanning Systems, Barcode Label Printing Solutions, Warehouse Management, Transportation, and Reporting Systems
· Experience utilizing OMW and Web OMW to manage projects and objects.
· Experience writing SQL code and developing reports is required.
· Experience in DB2 and MS SQL Server database is required.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
