Position Summary:

Acts as a resource / expert for performance excellence activities throughout Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.  Utilizes a variety of data sources as essential tools in collaboration with Directors / Vice Presidents, Managers, and Physicians in identifying Performance Excellence initiatives to ensure a balanced approach. This person is responsible to the Director, Clinical Risk Management.

Minimum Qualifications:

·         RN license and obtain bachelor’s degree in nursing within 3 years.

·         Five years full time acute care, clinical nursing experience, basic computer skills

·         Current PA Professional Nursing license.

·         Proficient in Excel spreadsheets

·         Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.

·         Knowledge of information sources and ability to coordinate a variety of data into useful information for teams and development of education plans.

·         Willingness to seek challenges and facilitate change throughout the organization.

·         Supports service excellence initiatives as demonstrated by behavior and attitude.

·         Self-directed and proactive.

·         Understanding of basic statistics and willingness to learn new applications.            

·         Seeks opportunities for personal growth and improvement.
