Description

Great Circle Catering is the Seacoast area's premier full-service caterer for personal and corporate events including weddings, summer BBQs, holiday parties, in-flight meals, and more. GCC also has offsite locations which include the Airside Caf located at the Portsmouth air terminal and The Daily Press in the Pease Tradeport.

We are looking for a dynamic Catering Sales Manager to join our team. The Catering Sales Manager will focus on growing the corporate catering segment, and nurturing existing client relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn catering sales and operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

Event Sales:
  • Secure new business via outbound sales, cold-calling, networking
  • Maintain existing client relationships and find ways to develop growth within the existing client base
  • Achieve forecasted revenue
  • Respond to all inbound leads in a timely and professional manner
  • Prepare BEOs and effectively convey information to the Culinary and Event teams
  • Participate in weekly BEO meetings
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to every inquiry and client
  • Conduct site visits when necessary
  • Represent Great Circle Catering at Bridal Shows and networking events
  • Actively seek learning opportunities
  • Maintain current knowledge base of industry trends and standards

Event Execution:
  • Coordinate event logistics between client and all relevant internal departments
  • Ensure adequate event staffing levels
  • Provide hands-on support during the event

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality (preferred) or equivalent relevant experience in a hospitality setting
  • Strong management and negotiation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented

  • Ability to multi-task
  • Excellent follow up skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
