**Waterlin Coffee Bar & Bistro is located inside Delta Hotels by Marriott in Menomonee Falls!**

We are looking for friendly, energetic, customer-focused bartenders to join our team! This is not your typical bartender job...earning potential is endless.

REPORTS TO:

Restaurant/F&B Outlets General Manager

REQUIRED TRAINING/

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of basic drink mixology. Accredited bartender's license or are able to obtain a bartender's license. Previous bartending experience is required. Previous serving experience recommended.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Must have command of the English language.

Basic mathematical skills.

Must be alert to the customers' needs.

Able to stand for 8 hours.

Must be able to work flexible days and hours, including weekends and holidays.

Able to perform tasks several tasks simultaneously.

Good hearing and vision with or without corrective lenses.

Able to lift at least 50 pounds.

Basic computer usage skills and POS system knowledge.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

- Knows and applies federal, state, and local laws governing the service of alcoholic beverages, as well as the hotel's policies regarding liquor service and liability.

- Gathers all needed supplies and equipment for the bar set-up.

- Maintain cleanliness of entire bar service area.

- Facilitate product rotation accordingly.

- Complete daily requisition for beer, wine and liquor.

- Adhere to Hostmarks cash handling policy and procedures.

- Accountable for assigned cash bank.

- Accountable for controlling all beverage areas through beverage key control.

- Sets up the bar according to hotel standards and maintains it during the shift.

- Performs necessary side work.

- Reports tips daily.

- Serves properly mixed drinks to guests within restaurant guidelines.

- Participate in any and all required Hostmark beverage training programs.

- Punches in and reports to the Restaurant MOD on time and in full uniform for each shift. Obtains Manager's approval prior to punching out.

- Runs tabs, computes guest checks, operates the POS computerized cash register system, and accepts payments.

- Assist in other areas of the restaurant and beverage operation if needed to include but not limited to banquet beverage, extended bar/lounge area, cocktail service, coffee bar, outdoor patio, etc.

- Performs all other related duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities:

**APPEARANCE AND GROOMING:** All artists are required to follow the guidelines set forth by the associate handbook.

**LANGUAGE SKILLS:** Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos, ability to write simple correspondence, ability to effectively present one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other artists of the organization and hospitality community.

**MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:** Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages and ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.

**REASONING ABILITY:** Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished written, oral, or diagram form, ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations and ability to address customer personalities in various business situations.

**PHYSICAL DEMANDS:** The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an artist to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of this job, the artist is regularly required to stand and walk; use hands and fingers, to handle and feel objects, tools controls and type; talk with and hear guests.
