Job Description:
We are seekingpassionate and experienced Special Education Teachers to join our team. The Special Education Teacher will work collaboratively with students, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities. Responsibilities include:

  • Assessing students' learning needs and developing appropriate IEP goals and objectives
  • Providing direct instruction and support to students in various academic and functional areas
  • Differentiating instruction to meet the unique learning styles and abilities of each student
  • Utilizing evidence-based teaching strategies and accommodations to promote student success
  • Collaborating with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff to ensure a cohesive and inclusive learning environment
  • Monitoring student progress, collecting data, and adjusting instruction as needed
  • Communicating regularly with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and collaborate on interventions and support strategies
  • Participating in IEP meetings, team meetings, and professional development activities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field
  • Valid teaching certification or licensure in Special Education
  • Experience working with students with disabilities, including knowledge of special education laws and regulations
  • Strong understanding of individualized instruction, behavior management, and assessment practices
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build positive relationships with students and families.
