Speech-Language Pathologist Position

Location: South Boston, Virginia

Type: Full-Time or Part-Time (Contracted)

Schedule: Monday through Friday

Overview:

Soliant has partnered with a local school district in South Boston, Virginia, actively seeking a passionate and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist for a contracted position. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the educational and communicative development of students in our local community. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing speech and language services to support students' academic success.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate the speech and language abilities of students.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders.
• Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support students' academic and social success.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Virginia state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Preferred: Experience working in a school setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of students and the school environment.
