Sr. Analyst, Clinical (Medhost)

What you’ll do:

As a Senior Analyst, Clinical (Medhost), you will support Lifepoint's Medhost Enterprise systems, handling configuration, maintenance, and customer support. You will resolve moderate to complex system issues and collaborate with Health Support Center (HSC) and Lifepoint facility personnel to ensure clinical processes are supported by the electronic system.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Director of Clinical Informatics and peers on patient data automation and system lifecycle management.
  • Support change management for clinical informatics software implementation.
  • Design and implement clinical informatics software to improve hospital care processes.
  • Monitor system setup and training for compliance with guidelines.
  • Define content, build, and training needs for system enhancements and quality initiatives.
  • Implement best practices to support care standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop orientation programs for clinical staff on documentation system changes.
  • Identify, document, and prioritize enhancement requests; reduce clinical process variation.
  • Provide hands-on support for CPOE, BCMA, and physician documentation.
  • Serve as subject matter expert (SME) for assigned solutions.
  • Lead system team for upgrades, implementations, and testing; provide technical support.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors to meet organizational needs.
  • Conduct QA testing for system application changes.

What you’ll need:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing or social work required.
Experience: Minimum 3 years healthcare IT experience or 5 years relevant clinical experience.
Licenses: Active Registered Nurse (RN).
