Caregiver/CNA: Paid training- 401K Matching- Starting at $18.00 an Hour

We are a local non-profit in-home care company seeking out caregivers for our amazing clients! We have full and part time schedules readily available :-) Listed below is one of our clients in need of a caregiver- we have multiple other clients in need of care if you are interested in creating a full-time schedule. 

Veteran living in SW Portland in need of assistance 11 hours a week. 

Care needs include:

-Light housekeeping

- Meal prepping

-Companionship

-Grooming

-Stand by assist w/ walking

Responsibilities

Assist the client with activities of daily living
Provide personal care services including bathing and toileting assistance, transfers, mobility, dressing and grooming
Perform light housekeeping and do laundry to help maintain comfortable and healthy living conditions
Provide companionship services to reduce senior isolation
Provide medication reminders
Plan, prepare and serve meals
Complete client’s shopping or accompany the client to do so successfully
Transport client to and from appointments
Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
Qualifications

Enjoy making a difference in another's life
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Demonstrated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
Dependable to complete all assigned shifts
Prior experience in a healthcare or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
High School Diploma or equivalent
Take pride in providing high quality care
Hoyer lift experience
