Support Coordinators are responsible for the support of participants in daily living activities and throughout emergent situations including all public emergencies including weather-related evacuations. While this position is a hybrid office and remote work, for the first 90-day you will be required to be in the office full time. This role requires providing support in a home and community-based setting, so you must have a reliable form of transportation to visit participants in their homes.
Salary Range: $33,500 - $34,500
Support Coordinator Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Social Work from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education AND two (2) years of paid post-degree experience in providing coordination services; or
- A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Nursing (RN) currently licensed in Louisiana (one year of paid experience as a licensed RN will substitute for the degree) AND two (2) years of paid post-degree experience in providing coordination services;
- A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a human services field (i.e. psychology, education, counseling, social services, sociology, philosophy, family and participant sciences, criminal justice, rehabilitation services, substance abuse treatment, gerontology, and vocational rehabilitation) AND two (2) years of paid post-degree experience in providing support coordination services;
- A Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts or General Studies with a concentration of at least 16 hours in one of the following fields (i.e. psychology, education, counseling, social services, sociology, philosophy, family and participant sciences, criminal justice, rehabilitation services, substance abuse treatment, gerontology, and or vocational rehabilitation) AND two (2) years of paid post degree experience providing support coordination services.
- The employee must be able to operate a computer and use web-based applications.
