Job Description
Title: Financial Analyst
Type: Contract, 2-4 Months
Location: Bethesda, MD (Remote, but should be local to DMV area and flexible to come onsite as needed)
Hours: M-F 40/Week
Pay: $35 - $41 per hour DOE
We are seeking Financial Analysts who will be able to assist with prepping a large proposal. In this role you will develop, interpret, and implement financial concepts for financial planning and control. The individual will work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
Responsibilities
- Performs technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance.
- Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements, operating forecasts, etc.
- Performs economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciation, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance, and/or impact of governmental requirements.
- Participates in business development and business planning exercises as required.
- Communicates effectively with Principal Investigators and their representatives with a professional and customer-service oriented demeanor.
- May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor. This may include attendance of and participation in required training for role.
Requirements:
- Ability to pass a background check
- Bachelor's Degree in a Business related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience required, including financial management and budgeting experience.
- Knowledge of spreadsheet software.
- Ability to structure and perform sophisticated financial projections and analyses.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple tasks.
- Ability to assimilate detailed information into the bigger picture.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with strong focus on customer service

- This position will take place primarily in an remote or office setting.
