Job Description
- We are a thriving office in search of a Phone Operator who is kind and can multi-task. Bilingual/ Spanish person is a requirement. You must be able to assist physicians and patients that will include making appointments and administrative duties under the direction of the physicians.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Virtually check in patients for telemed visits.
- Interview patients to obtain and record medical information
- Explains treatment procedures, medications, diets, and physician's instructions to patients
- Monitor supply levels and replace as needed
- Checking your voicemail and handle them accordingly
- Taking Virginia Hospital Center in-patient consult calls and relaying the message to the on call doctor.
- Document accurately in EHR information given to patients, and scan copies in appropriate charts.
- Answering back lines
- Comply with patient needs at all times
- Apply knowledge of sterile techniques and OSHA regulations
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
