Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery in line with established programs and schedules. Must be able to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot machine problems to prevent serious mechanical failures
• Perform mechanical as well as electrical installations and repair on all machinery throughout the plant. Assist with daily startups and work with Production, Sanitation and FSQ on problem solving issues and improvements
• Maintain proper records on all machines and maintenance work. Assist in the establishment and maintenance of a spare parts inventory. Specify and communicate spare parts needing to be procured.
• Perform work on refrigeration, PLC, Electromechanical, steam, freeze dry, wastewater and other systems as required.
• Comply with established internal LOTO Safety procedures. Work with Safety Coordinator and Plant Engineer on ergonomic and equipment modifications as needed. Complete all primary and secondary training required for the position.

Required Qualifications:

• 1+ year of maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment
• Food manufacturing experience preferred
• Experience working with industrial electronics and refrigeration PLC preferred
• Proficient in using computers (g. Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
