Job Description
Hussey Copper has an opening for a Maintenance Tech at its Eminence Kentucky facility. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and welding mechanical systems. This includes inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing malfunctioning equipment, as well as performing welding operations to fabricate or repair parts. The Technician will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and ensuring that all safety procedures are followed.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical systems
Perform welding operations to fabricate or repair parts
Inspect equipment for proper functioning and safety
Diagnose malfunctions in equipment using appropriate testing methods
Repair or replace defective parts as necessary
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
Knowledge of safety protocols when working with hazardous materials to ensure safety standards are met at all time
Assist in the installation of new equipment
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
Knowledge of mechanical systems
Ability to read blueprints and schematics
Proficient in welding techniques
