Payroll Clerk

Salary: Based on Experience $40,000.00 per year

Position Overview: The Payroll Clerk will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong numerical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in English and Spanish is required for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Timekeeping and payroll processing: 

• Collect and review timekeeping records from employees or supervisors.
• Verify the accuracy of time data, including hours worked, overtime, vacation time, sick leave, and other types of absences.
• Resolving all payroll discrepancies.
• Responsible for processing weekly and bi-weekly payrolls for all locations across the U.S.
• Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests to employees or management.

Record Maintenance and Compliance: 

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records, employee files, and relevant documentation.
• Will work closely with the HR Manager. 

Reporting: Generate and distribute payroll reports as needed, providing insights to management for decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in payroll processing or a related field.
• Proficient in using timekeeping/payroll software; prior experience using UKG and NetSuite preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in payroll or accounting is a plus.
