E4H Architecture is a 100% healthcare and health sciences firm dedicated to creating flexible, creative environments that enhance health and well-being. 

E4H is seeking a Project Architect with Exterior Envelope Expertise to design and detail additions to existing buildings as well as new ground up buildings. This role will require a working understanding of project management in an A/E/C firm as well as a solid understanding of building systems including structural foundations & framing, site & civil considerations, as well as exterior envelope systems with a proficiency in REVIT. Healthcare project experience is not a prerequisite.

RESPONSIBILITIES
 

  • Provide design and complex details for a variety of exterior envelope systems.
  • Coordinate envelope design with Structural engineers and the interior planning team.
  • Provide technical expertise to generate documents for a variety of projects ranging in size and scope. 
  • Work with Principals and Project Managers on all project efforts, both administrative and technical, to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects. 
  • Actively manage project budgets, schedules, and programs; project communications and documentation; office administrative tasks; and project team assignments.
  • Provides oversight and monitoring of work of less experienced technical staff.  
  • Ensures quality control on all deliverables.
  • Assist and/or draft  fee estimates, determine scope of work, and prepares proposals and contracts for partner or associated partner review. 
  • Serve as the primary consultant liaison and secondary client liaison to complete projects on schedule, within budget, and with maximum client satisfaction. 
  • Understand the overall design process and work towards developing and documenting design concepts.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Have expertise in development of both basic and complex envelope systems including materiality and both thermal and moisture requirements and relationships.
  • Excellent computer skills with experience in REVIT for architecture and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Architecture.
  • Ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience working in an A/E/C firm or in healthcare architecture.
  • Proficiency with Deltek-Vantagepoint software preferred, but not required.
  • Licensure preferred or demonstrated recent effort on the path to licensure.
