About the Position

You would be responsible for the setup and operation of our Swiss Turning and Eurotech CNC machines involved in manufacturing the diverse precision metal products run in our plant. This includes the supervision

of product runs to ensure safe and timely production of the customer parts. The role involves understanding the scope of the projects, working with others to solve production hurdles, and taking steps to assure quality

standards. You need to be able to set up a part from an existing part program and then monitor the timeliness of set-ups and suggest improvement initiatives where appropriate. You’ll oversee every step of your assigned production runs to make sure that we pursue zero defects and achieve on-time deliveries. You need to thoroughly understand all that is involved in efficient running of the machines. You’ll also assist in the maintenance and upkeep of equipment and facility as required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years CNC setup and operating experience in metal turning
• Experience with Swiss CNC setup and operation a plus
• Blueprint reading & GD&T knowledge
• Understanding of ISO quality standards as well as OSHA and EPA requirements
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Exceptional at positively relating to staff, co-workers, and customers
