Job SummaryProvides analytical insights to drive forecast accuracy, assortment optimization, inventory optimization and operational improvements to support the company’s sales strategy. Creates forecasts and executes store replenishments, utilizing the replenishment system for assigned products, with strong focus on inventory control. Drives continuous improvement to the replenishment process. Develops and implements process improvements and visibility tools to drive flawless execution.
 Essential Duties
  • Develops and communicates product and assortment forecasts and ensures that account information/expectations are communicated to appropriate cross functional team members in a timely and complete manner.
  • Steward and student of the business and the P&L. Keeps a sharp focus on profitability while delivering against KPI’s and delivering exemplary customer service, both internally and externally and understands downstream impacts of decisions.
  • Assures cohesion between the forecast and the revenue plan. Provides re-forecasts as required. Communicates forecast changes to cross functional partners for timely freight planning and execution.
  • Responsible for in-season replenishment of assigned VMI accounts.  Analyzes in-season product inventories and recommends in-season replenishment parameters; ensures adequate replenishment of assigned accounts to maximize sell-thru while minimizing end of season inventory.
  • Identifies and implements process improvements and works cross functionally to define and fix.
  • Creates visual data reporting and tools as needed.
  • Performs all other duties and assignments as requested.

  • Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to self-manage competing priorities.
  • SQL fluency preferred, Power BI skills are a bonus.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset.

Critical Skills
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills are required. Excel proficiency including formulas, look-up functions and charts. Desire to learn or affinity for structured query language such as SQL.
  • Critical Thinking, Intellectual Curiosity, Problem Solving and Strong Written & Verbal Communication skills are essential for this role.
  • Proven track record of process improvement capability and mindset.
Additional Information
  • No direct reports.
  • Reports to Sr. Director Forecast & Planning.
  • Works closely with sales, product managers, finance, shipping, and operational personnel.
  • Travel – 5% or less.
