Aide/PCA

We are looking for an aide/mentor to work with 2 adults (27 years and 31 years old) who deal with seizures.

The primary activity of the Aide/Mentor is to keep both adults safe and to take them to various activities. The seizures are under reasonable control and we will train/guide the aide on the necessary steps needed in case of emergency.

The 2 adults live at 2 different locations and the aide will have to pick up one of the adults and drive them to the other location based on schedule. After that, the aide will drive them to different daily activities and make sure to guide them as needed and be with them to help them gradually start getting their skills back, with more exposure to everyday living. We can discuss all of these requirements in person.

When college starts, the aide may have to drive the 27-year-old from Ashburn to George Mason and guide her on some of the classes. She is a senior majoring in Film and Video studies but has taken a break due to her seizures.

We are flexible as far as this being a full-time or part-time position. We can discuss various aspects of the job during our conversation. However, we can guarantee that the job will be fun and rewarding

Pay Rate will be mutually discussed.
