Monument Production Associate

The Production Associate at Tecstone Granite will support monument sandblast operations across the follow work functions:

1. Layout – application of Stencil Art & Lettering designs to monument and removing stencil from areas for Sandblast
2. Sandblast – operate sandblast booth / equipment to blast design and lettering into granite monument
3. Litho / Wash – Litho paint sandblasted design and lettering elements in granite, remove stencil & wash granite monument for final inspection and shipment

The Production Associate must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, utilizing small hand tools (knives, rulers, t-squares, mallets, rollers & etc), heavy equipment (overhead crane / hoist & forklift) as well as pushing monuments along conveyors & in and out of sandblast booths. 

Knowledge and/or Experience:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, manufacturing work environment.
• Knowledge of sand blasting processes (stencil, layout, sandblast, litho paint, and wash), preferred.
• High level of attention to detail required.
• Artistic skills a plus.
• High School diploma or GED required.
  

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, you may work overtime as necessary, based on production needs/demands, regularly stand or sit for long periods of time, and ability to lift 50 pounds and be able to bend, lift, and move around facility as needed.

Sandblasting Experience preferred, but not required. 

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job inside the office, the employee is frequently exposed to normal working conditions. When performing duties in the production area, the production floor will require proper PPE be worn, as well as working in areas that are not temperature-controlled. 

Work Schedule:

·         Full Time, Monday-Friday. 

·         7:00-3:30pm.

·         8 hours/day with a 30 minute lunch

·         OT may be available hen approved by manager
