Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide family-focused education and support services.
  • Conduct initial and crisis assessments, develop action plans, and offer referrals.
  • Perform local needs assessments for customized services.
  • Assist customers in determining service appropriateness.
  • Manage quarterly HeartLink orientations, organize events, and maintain necessary supplies.
  • Oversee the Key Spouse Program, conducting initial and ongoing training using DAF standardized curriculum.
  • Keep records of Key Spouse appointments and certifications.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree from an accredited graduate program in a mental health-related field.
  • Experience in providing education and enrichment services focusing on healthy family relationships, interpersonal competencies, problem-solving skills, and help-seeking skills throughout the family life cycle.
  • Ability to conduct initial assessments and crisis assessments with action planning for education, skill building, or referral to other installation agencies or community resources.
