Summary

A successful cashier/server should have a strong work ethic and high level of accuracy. You should be responsible, attentive to customer needs, and committed to providing excellent service. Cashier/Server responsibilities include a wide range of tasks that keep the store and kitchen running smoothly, from taking orders to adhering to food safety regulations.

Essential Functions

• Waits on customers in a pleasant and helpful manner at all times
• May take customers food and beverage orders in-person and over phone using ePOS Software
• Answers all telephone calls in a friendly manner using the Company's standard greeting and closure
• Operates cash register and credit card machine
• Checks in retail orders
• Follows all health and safety regulations
• Prices and stocks of all merchandise as directed
• Maintains clean, organized counters, displays, shelves, windows, and coolers
• Sweep/mop floors daily or as needed
• Cleans and organizes stock room daily
• Empties all trash receptacles and keeps the store and surrounding area free of trash and hazards
• Adheres to Company dress code while on duty
• Assists staff as necessary and is able
• Notifies supervisor immediately any time a guest is not 100% satisfied with their experience
• Be a willing member of Vista Recreation, performing all duties and functions as assigned to the best of their ability

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Friendly and courteous
• Basic computer skills
• Basic math aptitude, ability to count back change manually
• Able to operate cash registers & calculators
• Able to lift and carry 50 pounds
• Knowledgeable about park features, rules & regulations
• Willing and able to work weekends, holidays, early mornings and evenings
• Able to work unsupervised
• Reliable transportation
• Possess current food handler's certification
• Must meet background screening requirement
• Possess current food handler's certification

Preferred

• Experience with POS or equivalent retail system
