We are based out of Fulton MS and operate 14 divisions throughout the southeastern part of the US.   • Lays out reference lines and points, computes position of framing and furring channels, and marks position, using chalk line.
  • Assembles and installs metal framing and decorative trim for windows, doorways, and vents
  • Installs horizontal and vertical metal or studs for attachment of wallboard on interior walls, using hand tools.
  • Installing metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
  • Reading design plans in order to provide minimal wallboard to avoid unnecessary waste of materials
  • Protecting structures or surfaces near work areas to avoid damage.
  • Cutting drywall to the right size, using utility knives and power saws as needed.
  • Fastening drywall panels to interior wall studs, using nails or screws as needed.

Requirements

Education and/or Work Experience

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred).
  • 3+ years related experience (preferred).

Preferred Skills and Abilities

  • Basic hand and power tool skills 
  • Ability to read and use measuring tools such as tape measure 
  • Ability to work and communicate with others 
  • Analyze information and evaluate problems 
  • Ability to safely work at heights 
  • Work safely with all members of the crew  
  • Willingness to travel, with frequent overnight stays. Hotel and per-diem provided
