We are actively seeking a Warehouse Manager to join our team of talented people to help continue our tradition of innovation and market leadership. This position works out of our facility in Hot Springs, AR

How you Will Make a Positive Impact:

  • Understanding of the warehouse environment through maintenance of receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures. 

  • Complying with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions. 

  • Ensuring a safe working environment through consistent practice of safety programs and procedures. 

  • Controlling inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system (if needed). 

  • Identifying variances and developing action plans to resolve. 

  • Completing warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results. 

  • Issues shipping instructions and provides routing information to ensure that delivery times and locations are coordinated. 

  • Confers with department heads to coordinate warehouse activities, such as production, sales, records control, or purchasing. 

  • Reviews invoices, sales orders, consumption reports, or demand forecasts to estimate peak delivery periods and to issue work assignments. 

  • Schedules or monitors air or surface pickup, delivery, or distribution of products or materials. 

  • Responds to customers' or shippers' questions and complaints regarding storage and distribution services. 

  • Maintaining warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees. 

  • Maintaining warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. 

  • Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. 

  • Tracks and traces goods while they are in route to their destinations, expediting orders when necessary.

  • Lifting and carrying items up to 50 lbs. 

  • Approve Time-off requests within pre-determined parameters. 
     

The Value You Bring:

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, good verbal and written communication, mechanical, analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • 5 years managing and supervising people in a warehouse function.  

  • Team player 

  • Knowledge of material handling methods and procedures. 

  • Strong PC proficiency with Microsoft application such as Outlook, Word, Excel. 

  • Ability to successfully pass a drug screen. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain/Operations Management, Logistics, or Industrial Engineering or 4 years equivalent experience, preferable but not required.
