Project Coordinator (Proactive Services)

Led by the values and mission of the organization, the Proactive Services Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in providing administrative support to the proactive services team. Responsibilities will include handling a wide range of administrative tasks and assisting team members as needed.

Work Preformed

• Manage and respond to emails and phone calls.
• Accurately enter data into spreadsheets and databases and maintain electronic and physical filing systems.
• Assist in drafting, proofreading, and editing documents, reports, and presentations.
• Provide administrative support to various team members, as needed.
• Performs claims reviews to identify open claims and involves claims managers as needed.
• Uploads information into mod software to project and review client EMRs.
• Completes all tasks assigned in a timely and efficient manner.
• Documents, tracks, and quantifies work completed on Bignition platform and in EPIC.
• Receive and report new claims to carriers based on established guidelines.
• Document actions taken and communications; document outcomes and communicate outcomes to necessary parties.
• Perform claims analytics using reports, trends analysis, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associates or Bachelors degree is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
• Professional and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
• Mathematical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Trained in the use of EPIC, Bignition, and Mod Master within the first 30 days of hire.

Preferred Education/ Experience

• 3+ years insurance experience preferred, but not required.
• Some college preferred, but not required.
