Children's Dental Center is seeking full-time and part-time Dental Assistants to be part of our amazing team!

Our goal at Children's Dental Center is to provide a fun environment where children can have a positive dental experience while providing them top-quality dental care. We are seeking dependable, fun, hard-working, proactive team players to join our practice. Office Hours:

· Monday: 7am – 5pm

· Tuesday: 7am – 5pm

· Wednesday: 7am – 1:30pm

· Thursday: 7am – 5pm

· Friday: 7am – noon


Responsibilities:

· Assist the dentist during dental procedures.

· Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.

· Take dental x-rays.

· Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures.

· Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.

· Maintain a clean and organized dental operatory.

· Follow infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment.

· Adhere to HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality.


Other Details:

· Sign-on bonus: $1,500

· Job type: full-time or part-time

· Expected hours: 24 – 38 per week

· Schedule: Monday – Friday

· Salary: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour

Requirements:

Requirements:

· Applicants MUST meet the following two criteria to be considered for this position: 1.) Hold an active Registered Dental Assistant License and with the South Dakota State Board of Dentistry or a current certification with the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB), and 2.) be radiology certified.

· Authorized to administer nitrous oxide, preferred, but not required.

· Ability to work well in a team environment.

· Compassionate and caring attitude toward patients and parents.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
