Intake Nurse (RN) PRN Night Shift 7:00 pm to 7:30am | Day Shift: 7am-7:30pm
Minimum Availability of 6 (six shifts per month)
Voyages Behavioral Health of Conroe

Under the direction of the Director of Assessments and Referrals, the Intake Nurse is responsible to screen patient admissions and communicate information to the physician to determine if patient meets level of care. This position works closely with nursing department, clinical staff and Intake department to ensure timely admission of patients. This position will contribute to department meetings, quality initiatives and maintain services within TJC requirements. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Requirements:
Registered Nurse Licensure through Texas State Board of Nursing or Compact Nurse Licensure unencumbered.

BLS (CPR) through AHA or American Red Cross
Crisis management certification per hospital policy and standards required.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Experience: Candidates with 2-3 years of experience in admissions preferred in a Behavioral Health Hospital.
