Summer Internship (part-time)

Savan is looking for a part-time summer Intern to assist the Growth Team. This internship is a unique learning opportunity designed to help advance the careers of future business professionals. The Intern will have access to professional mentorship and hands-on experience in a consulting firm setting, providing exposure to various business lanes such as market research, data analysis, business metrics analysis, opportunity qualification and assessment, capture activities, proposal activities, marketing strategies and plans for new business and program growth pursuit, among others. 

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support and assistance to our teams in a variety of projects including conducting market research and competitive analysis on the government contracting sector
• Assist in preparing deliverables for business development purposes by gathering market intelligence and researching the partner ecosystem
• Analyze raw data and propose effective methods to present key performance indicators
• Collaborate with leaders across the organization to provide assistance on various tasks and projects

Relevant Skills:

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong professional writing and presentation skills.
• Ability to rapidly respond to changing environments.
• Ability to develop source material and conduct research.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Multi-tasking skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, and other IT systems.

Desired Skills:

• Familiarity with the government contracting industry landscape.

Qualifications:

• This internship is open to college students only.
• Must be currently pursuing or recently completed BS or MS degree in business, marketing, communications, or other related field.
• Must have Permanent U.S. Work Authorization or US Citizenship.

Schedule/Location:

• 8-10 weeks starting Summer 2024
• 4x 6-hour days (Mon-Thu), 1 day off per week (Friday)
• Report onsite to HQ on Monday and Thursday (Vienna, VA)
