Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Offer financial counseling for Military families.
  • Implement ongoing financial literacy programs.
  • Conduct mandatory touchpoints for various milestones.
  • Stay updated on innovations in financial programs.
  • Assist with extended absence financial plans.
  • Provide education on basic financial skills, savings, and investing.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC) certification as certified by AFCPE
  • Attendance at DoD Financial Readiness Training Symposium (annually).
  • Demonstrated completion of 30 Continuing Education Units (CEU) bi-annually.
  • Proven experience offering information, education, and personal financial counseling to Military, individuals, and families.
