Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Offer financial counseling for Military families.
- Implement ongoing financial literacy programs.
- Conduct mandatory touchpoints for various milestones.
- Stay updated on innovations in financial programs.
- Assist with extended absence financial plans.
- Provide education on basic financial skills, savings, and investing.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC) certification as certified by AFCPE
- Attendance at DoD Financial Readiness Training Symposium (annually).
- Demonstrated completion of 30 Continuing Education Units (CEU) bi-annually.
- Proven experience offering information, education, and personal financial counseling to Military, individuals, and families.
