Job Summary:

The Senior Arcade Technician is responsible for aiding the technical manager by handling calls, reporting machine issues, stocking prizes, and maintaining a safe environment. The Senior Arcade Technician will also take part in training junior techs, testing games, acquiring parts, and assisting with other tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintains a neat and orderly workshop
• Ensures that all self-contained games are stocked with prizes
• Maintains a safe work environment and follows all safety rules.
• Maintains safety compliance and follows regulations as set by State regulatory and safety boards
• Handle calls for the game floor and attractions
• Performs preventative maintenance of games and attraction
• Informs Technical Manager of potential machine problems
• Sources replacement parts and assists with parts procurement
• Assists Technical Manager with training and development of junior techs
• Acts as Interim Manager when needed
• Test games every week
• Complete assigned weekly projects and tasks
• Complete weekly cleaning checklist
• Complete weekly maintenance sheet as assigned by Technical Manager
• Other duties as assigned

Education:

• Vocational or other technical STEM degree is a plus
• Must have at least two years arcade/gaming/amusements technical field experience

Qualifications:

• Strong teamwork ethic and attitude
• Attention to detail
• Passion for their work
• Critical thinking
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely
• Understanding of hydraulic systems, PLC, and electric motors/actuators
• Welding and soldering skills are a plus
• Board-level PCB repair is a plus

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older

• Must be able to work weekends and holidays

• Must be able to work up to 45 hours per week, available to work every weekend

• Able to walk and stand for long periods of time

• Able to climb 30ft

• Able to lift 80lbs unaided

• Valid driver’s license required
