We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software QA Tester to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Software QA Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through comprehensive manual and automated testing methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automated testing, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance.

Requirements:

  • US citizenship required.
  • Candidate must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.
  • This position is currently hybrid (remote/onsite) and may require working onsite in Washington DC , at least two days a week.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Strong understanding of manual and automated testing methodologies.
  • Proficiency in designing and executing test cases and test scripts.
  • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks, with a preference for Cypress.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience working in Agile software development environments is preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality of software products.
  • Perform manual testing of software applications to identify and report defects.
  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products.
  • Participate in Agile software development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
  • Work closely with developers to reproduce, debug, and resolve reported issues.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
