Summary of Duties

Position Purpose

The Audio Visual Technician is responsible for assisting in all aspects of sound, light and video implementation on the property and for events and promotions as needed. The Audio and Visual Technician will also be responsible for assisting in day-to-day IT functions as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

· Audio Visual

o Install, configure, and operate various AV technical equipment.

o Provide technical support for all media and audiovisual equipment for all properties, including but not limited to the Casino Floor, Showplace, Outdoor Amphitheater, Hotel, Golf Course, and Tribal Locations.

o Familiarization with Video Distribution Systems.

o Familiarization with Video Matrix Systems.

o Familiarization with Audio Distributions Systems

o Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.

· Networking

o Run, terminate and test Cat6 cable.

o Basic understanding of TCP/IP.

o Basic understanding of Vlans.

Basic understanding of Network Protocols.

Requirements:

Education/Qualifications

· High School Diploma.

Licensing

· Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Gaming License

Work Requirements

Shift hours will vary depending on events (between 8 am - 12 am).

Requires problem solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively. Position involves prolonged walking, stooping, or bending, lifting, or carrying up to 50 pounds daily. Work is performed in a casino environment with varying levels of lighting, air quality, noise, and / or temperature.
